If you want to take the mudguards off then you'll need to split the chassis as theres two screws on the inside holding the mudguards as well as two on the outside near the rear axel

Id nearly be better off just cutting them because i don`t really need it

the rear wheels are just twist opposite ways then pull one off, pretty simple although some i have done are quite tightly fitted, then as mark said, split the chassis via the 2? or 3? screws on one side, and undoo the screws from the inside to remove the archs, having said that they will twist off with care once you take the wheels off, just leaves the hole and screws rattling round in the chassis block
