05rich
Now that i have finished school and my exams i tought it was time for another conversion i have chosen a 6910 because i have wanted one in my collection for ages. right then, it is going to be built on a siku 6920 chassis, with uh mccormick mtx175 floorpan with 6920 cab and ertl 6410 cab roof, and hopefully a pdc resin bonnet and some universal hobbies wheels when i come round to it. what i have to start milliput to make mudgard extensions which i have left overnight and i am off now to do some filling and sanding
05rich
here i have cut off the front of the lower section of the chassis since then i have filled some holes on it , it is just setting now
05rich
mudgards sanded and shaped then i cut the peice from the back of a 6920 and filled it down so it would fit in mock up from the back

roberthenning
looks really well lad, made a 6600 myself earlier this year, hard enough conversions, is pdc doing the resin bonnets now, i had to make one up of a 6410 on a modified 6920 bonnet with alot of cutting and filling with stoppers was tricky as hell. keep at it will look really well when finished

roberthenning
thanks , and yeah pdc does a resin cast of the ertl (7810 i think) bonnet , any pictures of your work ? theres a couple, although ive removed the front section of the bottom of the siku chassis from those pictures, hard to find a decent set of front wheels for it too yeah i seen his 7810 bonnet wasnt sure if it was accurate or not, but im sure it would be with a little minor modifications

roberthenning
thanks, the deutz/same/hurlimann k100s front wheels could be a contender, thats what im for using on a 6430 im doing at the moment, they seem to be pretty good comparision for the 24" front wheels. although alot of the 6910s came on solid centre wheels so the siku 6920 of deutz ttv would both look equally as good
