Paul Palmer
im not an expert, but i think it would devalue it,as it would not be original anymore, however,if you want to use the model in a layout, and dont just keep it in its box, i would go for it,i know some people never take there models out of the box,but personally i like them to be set in a diorama
TM190
As soon as you've opened the box you've devalued it Plus I don't think there realy that Ltd are they? So theres plenty about, so not really that rare you could say?? If you want it on put it on.. I've done alot worse to Ltd models in the past! Tractorman810
its certainly not a limited 500 run, so i would say go for it ,other option as mentioned above would be the normal run, sure decals could be sourced if you really want that model number on the bonnet

S. Peters
I say, do it. It sure will decrease its value because its limited. But it will increase its value for you, i think. Fortunally, therse then only one of this model so it will be unique. I did the same with my JD 8400 from Ertl. Some people like it some people don't. But i know i like it.... Greetings,

Greetings, This is a good way to think. Often, people only think about the value of a model if they were to sell it. The enjoyment and the value should be based on yourself. S. Peters
I'm not collect and modify models to sell everything. I do that because i want to have something unique in my collection. And that's often not for sale... greetings
Deere-est
Good for you, I think it is nice to be like that
jordantaylor
yes, i was not thinking of selling the model when built but i was not sure how it would affect its ltd edition value i really like the model and think it will fit into the farm well and i think a nice keenan wagon or fert spreader behind it will look well
harvey123
what about just loader brackets and build some legs for the loader, so all you have to do is add 2 screws whenever you want the loader on and then when you want it off jus unscrew it again
