Barry Posted October 19, 2011 Share Posted October 19, 2011 Opened the Claas Disco and fount there was an adaptor to connect the mower to a tractor. Found that the adaptor fitted the UH MF 7499 I have on the shelf, so went about fitting the mower to the adaptor. Now i've looked and looked at the way it fits, but the mower will not fit onto the adaptor! Am i missing something? If you look at the pictures, the lower horizontal bar on the adaptor clashes with the PTO shaft on the mower, meaning the adaptor will not position onto the hooks?? Think I removed toplink pin, then fitted it to lower links and GENTLY eased it into place and fitted new toplink pin. Not sure if PTO went under or over but can look later. Hope this helps. My solution was to cut the horizontal bar out of the A-frame all together, still had to file the hooks a little bit to get the frame to sit into the mower though .
