Question

There was a strike on at the Uni so I finished work early and though i no i can pop down to the local hobbycraft to obtain me some wax to carve into shapes to then create models out of i thought wax is good as you can melt it down again!!! but did they have any NO they didnt. so i brought pastercine instead!OK so plasticine is no good for model making i know that now!?!?!?! but the reason for my little storey of my wasted afternoon is you know that latex rubber is it anygood to cast into? ie will it take the heat? and where does every one obtain their resin from?

there arn't many flexy moulds that will take hot metal

silicone moulds i understand can too some degree but i may be wrong

latex is a rubber compound and wouldn't take much heat
