McCormick CX105

Does any one know how to take the roof off the uh cx105 and if so is it easy as I was half thinking of making this.

from memory they are press rivited onto the plastic frame, small screw driver to pop the roofs internal section out, then drill the plastic rivit heads off, away she comes ,been a while since i did one but i am pretty sure thats how they came apart

Thanks, so do I just unscrew the cab from the chassis pull out the internal section and drill off the rivets. I'm I right

Take off back wheels. You'll see 2 drops of glue under each mudguard, thats what holds the cab on. take the whole cab off, the glass will be in two sections, Front and Back. Pop them of then the black frame should pop off aswell the same way but its easier too drill the rivet heads off.

Do the exact same with the mtx if you are doing one of them too get the roof.

Thank you, Is the sky light part of one the section as well?

And is the 3 point hitch easyish to remove and replace with a more realistic set? if so what linkages would you recommend.

The sky Light is part of the roof panel.

Two screws will take the linkage part off, you'l see them when you remove back wheels. Then the detailed backend block can be taken of by spliting the chassis or just pri it off with a screwdriver.

Some of these linkages should do the job
