Deere-est
Sean - tractorman810 - has scratchbuilt three combines, including their complete headers. He'd be your man to ask. Get a seat ready and a dictionary though, he talks for ages and can't spell for trying!
deKleijn
I was flicking through some old topics and got a pretty nice guide on making the tines, from the bloke you're talking about. Tractorman810
looking at the pics, they seem easier to make than a full combine one, as they dont have the spring loop on each tine, just a straight leg ,so a rod with holes drilled for them should be easy , outer reel ends , simple shape cut from plasti card, the star bits on the inner parts ?? make a jig and duplicate a few,
deKleijn
Yea that was the plan, just got to find something for the conveyor belt behind the reel.
