BC
On the return journey home from New Castle I stopped in past the Chain Bridge Honey Farm which is on the Scottish / English border just a few miles south of Berwick upon Tweed. William Selby Robson a beekeeping advisor started the business in 1948 and was taken over by his son Willie in 1971. Since then Willie's son Stephen and two daughters have joined the business. The Chain Bridge showing Stephen aka " young WASPY" crossing the bridge in his landrover based "kit jeep" There has been a recent landslide and entry to the bridge at present is through the honey farm. After having a look around the shop I had a stroll down to the bridge and went over to Scotland and back again to England.
BC
The bridge is really needing some attention and the weight limit is now 2 tons and only access for vehicles less that 6 foot six inches wide.

BC
It certainly is Sue but it needs a bit of maintenance. Well worth a visit to the Honey Farm and vintage collection as well and your are only a short distance to John & Maureen Cranston's farm which was my next port of call.
