Finished the winter wheat herbicide on fields too wet until now and put pre-emergence simazine on the spring beans.

civilpek
nice looking combination there jdc, i always like those sprayers attached to the tractor on the 3 point linkage or trailed better then the self propelled ones

I like spraying.........cover a lot of ground, has to be a nice day, tractor not working hard, a break now and again to fill. Only bad thing is when you cost up the chemicals after a big day

Pingu
Good pictures jdc what size tank overall? I prefer the mounted sprayers put got to be 1200l overall capacity (front and back tanks) or large trailered 4000l+ ones behind a nice large tractor the least a tractor that size has drank in a day :D
jdc
Nice pics John... thanks for posting them... she looks well looked after - how many hours I think the Renault only has about 1800 hrs on it....just run in. Good pictures jdc what size tank overall? Front tank is 600 and back is 1200 lts. I spray at 160 lt/ha so it gives a decent coverage on one fill. Trouble is the Renault is around 5 tonnes, the sprayer 1600 kg, and 1800 kg water makes the whole thing a bit heavy.
