Pingu
Those were MFF - not that well in my opinion \ Why's that then
Lord Ferguson
A lot of the parts were hand painted... some bits had not been replaced - one of the bonnets had just been touched up - a few dings here and there... quite a lot of oil and DIesel leaks as well... Picky thing really... but if your'e gonna do one up - go the whole hog OR keep it original in my opinion.
Pingu
If it was me i'd get it mechanically sound before anything else, be interesting to know what they made
Lord Ferguson
If it was me i'd get it mechanically sound before anything else, be interesting to know what they made I have spoken to a few restorers recently - they ALL tell me to fix the up mechanically - steam clean them and work them hard to check for (even minor) leaks - nothing worse than oil or derv on new paint work
Pingu
exactly i'm thinking with my fergie just to get it mechanically running and touch up the outside but not paitn as i'ts in nice condition what you think as i like seeing original
