B O R
Interesting, anyone know more about them, what power units fitted etc, I never knew there was a connection there at all
Tractorman810
Could also just be a case of buying in the cabs? You could make one of them out of a uh 3000 and a britains valmet bonnet, with a few mods to it around the grill area. Not sure on the chassis mind , looks way bigger than a uh or britains chassis
ih5288
Wow, that's going back a bit, Mark. That used to be a great website for farm machinery prototype pics and rumours...
Niels
I have the Steyr 9000 series, hadn't seen the second one. Interesting tractors, very rare. Pretty much all the same just another paint job and bonnet. More details here: http://www.konedata.net/Traktorit/steyr9155.htm
ih5288
Yes, as you say, just really a paint job and a new 'nose'. These marketing deals between different manufacturers always make for interesting brochures, though, not least because they're often fairly short-lived or only for certain markets. Certainly true John! Often makes for the most interesting models and also sometimes very unexpected. Valmet used the 3600 and 8100 series MF's for a few 8000 series models. 8800 and 8850 based on MF 8100. Does anyone have a brochure on this one or the other Valmet? Sadly my collection of Valmet literature is only very small. Here is the one on the 8300 and 8600 attached that Mark posted a picture of.
