That looks a dandy piece of kit in picture 2 fp, whats the idea there??

You load the trailer up with big square bales of silage/hay then once you are in the paddock you cut the strings off then just drive along and the trailer drops slice's of the bale out the back for your stock to eat. This is a comman way of feeding out bales on live stock farms here.

Nice pics Oli......I like the idea of the bale feeder......Saves doing a big paddock all by hand eh...... :)

we don't have any thing that hi-tec here mate , just put a 35x in gearget off the tractor & hop onto the transport box & throw it out by hand  :-\

you got long before your lot start foraging mart ?

There ain't much grass fields around this way Marcus......I think my boss might have mowed his fields last week though, after next Wednesday I've got 12 days off so I'll be going up again to see how things are getting on......

Spotted a local contractor's Kuhn mower getting serviced the other night too so any grass fields that are nearby should be getting done soon...... :)

We have a soft patch of ground at the top of our yard where I managed to get a 7 1/2 tonne lorry stuck a few weeks back..... I backed the forklift onto it and hooked a chain on, took the slack up and then left the forktruck in drive... hopped off the forktruck and into the lorry and away we went...  :o :o :o

One man recovery operation complete, when the lads came back after dinner I could see the look on their faces trying to work out who had driven what!!  :D :D :D :D :D :D
