gromittigger
Does anyone now average prices of secondhand tractors? I have a 7610 Ford with Q cab 'Y' reg, quite tatty though. Has had a new engine. Were thinking about changing it as the old girl is getting tired looking. Are these tractors suited to the younger Classic tractor collector yet? - I've seen a few rebuilt fords at shows. Gav836
is it 2wd or 4wd? 4wd has a premium but i still would imagine somewhere between ?3000 and ?5000 for the old girl

Gav836
2wd - would it be better sold through classic tractor for example? Definately worth a try and better off sold privately as it is worthless to most dealers, could also try Farmers Guide if you get it

nashmach
She is one of the very early ones so probably has that awful Rubix Cube gearbox. If she is tatty as you say 3-3.5 would be my max.
Gav836
Spoke to a dealer today while i was in there who specialises in the older stuff, he says that as its not a series II, but an original one it would probably be worth ?2-2500 tops, not as desirable as the later ones unfortunately
