jdc
Whats the throughput of the drier John?? It's a batch drier and holds 120 bushels which in english is about 3.25 tonnes wheat. It'll take 5% moisture out and cool in an hour. Takes 3 mins to fill and 9 to empty. Doesn't sound fast but I reckon it averages 70 t/day so I can dry all my wheat in 12 days. What can your intake pit hold and who made your set-up? The intake pit can hold about 50t if it's pushed up with the JCB. The drier is made in Indiana imported by Brice Baker. The augers and conveyor I picked up here and there. I dug the pit with a mini digger and lifted it out with the JCB
