Paint removal

Like a dohnut when i was younger i decided that my white cabbed Britains 3680 should be silver.  Now a lot older and a little wiser i would prefer it white.  Does anyone have any ideas in how i would remove this paint without effecting the plastic, bearing in mind it was humbrol enamel paint i used.  My feeling is that it's a long shot...but hey it's worth asking.  Thanks in advance.

you can remove enamel paints by putting it in a freezer bag with Mr MUSCEL oven cleaner you might needed to do it a couple of times and also use a tooth brush.

common or garden brake fluid works quite well, soak it for a while then scrub with a old toothbrushor similar.
