That's the induction hopper you can put chemicals in there but usually there for granular herbicide to help them disolve before they go into the main system the farm next to my nans used to use a big old esso road tanker trailer, on a dolly ,filled her right up and dragged it out to a centrel point for the fields they were doing, took some liquid i can tell ya,and a big tractor to pull it, jd 4000 series from memory Neighbours use a 2000gl Slurry tank but I do know lads who have a have old milk tankers and use them like you said Sean Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Certainly is George's MB Trac mate...... Haven't seen the self propelled ones for a fair bit, does he still have two of them as I'm sure I saw two working in a field a couple of years back?
