Irrigation unit and pipes?

farmernick06

Question

On the website with all the pictures from the French toy show i saw a converted/scratch built irrigation unit. Over our fields they do alot of irragating with Briggs irragation units and thought it would be a nice idea to give it a go. What do you think would be the best way to make the huge irragation pipes that lead from the hydron/pump to irragation unit itself?

And do you think a Britains irrigation unit would look good with a paint change and in the Briggs colours?  :-\ :-\

Ignore the dog in the second picture by the way

maybe the siku one would be better for this project, as the base model has solid sides to the reel , the britains one doesn't

The later version of the Britains one did have solid sides to the reel as well Marcus, got 5 of them sitting here. It was the early one with the yellow pipe that didn't. Picked mine up for between ?4 and ?10 MIB on ebay :);)

I have a few of the old Wright Rain irrigators and newer models, the old one has both yellow and black pipes!!...Yellow was the original colour, black was either the later colour or someone has been switching them around on ebay (but i doubt that :-\ :-\)
