casting in metal or resin

The thing that you need to remember if you are planning to get something cast is to get your master pattern perfect, something as simple as a fingerprint will show up in the mould and you'll end up with every single casting having it on. Your master will also need to be sprayed in a cellulose primer. If you plan on casting things yourself, don't be to ambitious with your first project as the moulding silicone is quite expensive and the resin mixing needs to be exact or it won't cure properley ;)
