Usually a catalogue is available for download prior to the sale. In the meantime I attach the link to their website. Do you collect BFA tractors?

I think they do e-bids too.

Thanks.  Yes I do collect BFA tractors.  The wife collects the cattle and sheep models.  I have every one of the  BFA Annual tractor pices, just picked up the 2007 release MF65 'Tipping Turnips'

I have most of them apart from the first three years since at the time I thought they were too expensive!! . I regret that now but such is life. I will look out for the catalougue ( in fact i will e-mail the girl to see when it is due) and will keep you posted if interested.

The only criticism I have is they make too many Massey Ferguson & Fordson pieces. I mean they have only made one of my favourite brand the International B250 entitled "Lifting the Pinks"

I agree.  Trouble is that their target market, the older farming community, will only buy what they had on the farm.  In the 50's and 60's MF and Fordson were the most popular so hence to sell BFA have to produce them.  The numbers they make each year is dropping, a sign that there aren't as many collectors for the limited editions now.  The MF 65 is an LE of 950.  At it's peak it was 2000.

I hear what you are saying and I'm so glad that the numbers have been dropped back down to 950 to make them more exclusive. They were up to 2003 with the model "A day's work ditching"

Still not on the website but I'm told it could be there by the weekend or early next week. They tell me they are still waiting for a few pieces to arrive for details

The sales catalogue featuring 270 items is now on the Thainstone Specialist Auctions website and is available for download.

Many thanks for the info.  I'll go through the catalogue.  Won't be able to go but they do internet bids so you never know!
