bluegreen
Hi all, I like too keep my conversions simple as possible and decided it was time too prepare the 7830(205hp) to replace current 7920(200hp) on the carpet farm Firstly I removed the lifeless looking tyres & replaced them with Siku ones, Fendt 930s on back, JD6920 on front not a bad fit I think! bluegreen
Secondly I gave wheels 3 coats of lemon yellow enamel paint & painted wheel nut silver too
bluegreen
Thirdly I sawed of a 5mm section of old wheel axle and fixed it too rear wheel centre too create the bar axle effect.

bluegreen
Finally I sorted out the wayward exhaust pipe by drilling a hole through it & into tractors cab, then another larger hole halfway through pipe. I then screwed a long micro screw into hole & into cab until the exhaust was in its correct position The hole was filled with milliput & painted matt black. bluegreen
These relatively small detail changes have had a dramatic effect on this tractor which in real life size has too be best looking in its class Heres one last pic of those chunky rear tyres And in case your wondering they dont rub against any other part of tractor
Deere-est
The tyres alone are a huge improvement but the other little changes finish it off very well.
bluegreen
Thanks for kind words, I only wish I had more suitable implements too go behind this size of tractor which typically is a tillage tractor, so a 5 or 6 f plough or a 5 leg flatlift would be my favourites, however it does look like next year will deliver lots more options with Vaderstad cultivations kit & a Horsch terrano being high on my wanted list
MDFord
You've made it look much better with those relatively minor mods bluegreen Painting the wheels makes quite a difference, the gloss looks far more realistic than the standard plastic finish
