Light Land Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 A few pictures of a NZ made trailing plough. You don't often see trailing ploughs used much these days, but I joker I know still tips over 250ha a year of fine sandy loam with a New Holland TM140 and this plough. He makes a heck of nice job with it as well. Light Land Posted March 2, 2008 Author Posted March 2, 2008 To be fair thats the frist one I've seen still in use for donks. The farmers that are still ploughing alot in my area tend to use ploughs from northern europe. Quote
NewHolland2 Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Interesting plough Ol, thanks for the pictures........Do you have any of the TM? Quote
jdc Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Do they make the bodies/metal too or are they by a 'big' manufacturer? Like the spring loaded discs though. Quote
Tractorman810 Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 intresting machine ol, being trailed ar ethey easier to use then?? do you still need a big machine to use it like a normal 8 furrow reversable or can you get away with a smaller machine to tow it Quote
