A few pictures of a NZ made trailing plough.

You don't often see trailing ploughs used much these days,but I joker I know still tips over 250ha a year of fine sandy loam with a New Holland TM140 and this plough.He makes a heck of nice job with it as well.

To be fair thats the frist one I've seen still in use for donks.

The farmers that are still ploughing alot in my area tend to use ploughs from northern europe. :)

Do they make the bodies/metal too or are they by a 'big' manufacturer?

Like the spring loaded discs though.  ;)

intresting machine ol, being trailed ar ethey easier to use then?? do you still need a big machine to use it like a normal 8 furrow reversable or can you get away with a smaller machine to tow it

I'd say you'd want something pretty heavy to pull a plough like that as there wouldn't be any weight transfer to the tractor wheels as with a mounted or semi-mounted plough
