A bit late, but have taken a photo of how far I got with dismantling the Jaguar 960 to try and remove driver, and possibly the steering mechanism - though its mainly the driver I want rid of!
I don't know how to get the cab apart, there doesn't seem to be any more screws but the nature of the steering mechanism prevents me from getting it apart any more than in this photo:
There are screws in the holes at the very top of the photo, but because of the steering I can't remove that piece and get right inside the model - to see if there is a way of actually dismantling the cab! Sorry if this seems very confused but thats just about how I am feeling! Look at how he smiles at my failure, confident in his defiance :
