What clown was doing donuts in the field >:(

Good job there Blake - furrows look very even - a lot learned from before I guess...

Are NC still making cattle trailers???

That was just us turning i think  :D :D

I thought that the grass land was a lot easier ploughed than the stubble, not once did anyone have to clear the plough, last time it was 2 or 3 every run  :-\ :-\

Its something i've took a liking too actually, Wouldn't mind getting someone that knows what their doing to teach me  :-\ :-\ :) :)

No they dont, couldn't compeat with Ifor Williams  :-\ :-\

So what else do you get up to up there Blake?

Apart from living away from home, I can honestly say I enjoyed college more than school ;)

Well in the classroom we learn about the mechanicing side of things, how clutch's,brakes etc. work. etc.etc.. then we do a bit of mechanicing practical  ;)

Pratical end, we do 90% of the farm work, ploughing, seeding, silage etc.. main job  ;) We learnt how to weld and will be making things from metal using lathes etc.  ;D ;D

A good mix i recon  ;D

I have to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Agricultural college so its nice to see someone else who is enjoying it. The industry needs young blood as I was told the other day that the average age of farmers is now approaching 50 :o :o :o :o

Unfortunately the college that I went to no longer exists, it was Seale Hayne in Newton Abbot (Powerrabbit country)  :( :( :( :( :( :( :( and was as far away from my parents as I could possibly get  ;D ;D ;D

I would love to go to agri collage, but the closest one to me is 65 miles away >:(

Is there not accomodation on site?

Find out if the following,

1, Accomodation, for somewhere to live

2, Sport teams, football and rugby etc, for sociallizing, drinking etc

3, Girls, are there courses with lots of girls on campus, for extra curricular activities

4, A nearby 24 hour petrol station or supermarket, for late night munchies

Wish i had gone to agri college!!  ;D

nice pics blake! getting a good experience!

are the boys that are doing actual agri courses getting to do the same sort of practical work? like diplona in agri, are they getting to do all this ploughing etc that the land based tech is getting to do? ???:)

As far as i know, they don't do any of the machinery work. Maybe the odd bit now and again... They came and watched us polughing yesterday  :D :D

But I'd say we do 95% of it  ;) ;) They to busy playing with cows and sheep  :D :D :D;D::)
