    The Snow Topic

have got about 2 inches in aberdeenshire. Aberdeen airport and the shetland airports are snow closed!! Delays to flights already
  11. When I put the AT's on the pick up guy in GT tyres was saying he has done 50,000 miles in his pick up and only half worn!! When I had the BMW was lucky if I got 20,000 out of them and they were 210 each!! Wife's tyres were nitrogen filled so will see if we get same wear this time.
  12. Well tyres for me to Bill. A set of BF Goodrich AT tyres for the L200 to replace a set of Bridgestone duelers which had done 27,000 miles. The wife's clio required tyres as well so 2 BF Goodrich winter tyres on the front and 2 normal BF Goodrich on the back the tyres that came off had done 30,000 miles £1000 total for all the tyres
  13. Well today is really busy last day at work so loads to do early start at 05:30 and still here working probably another hour to go finishing off my handover and work preparation. Home tomorrow cannot wait 2 weeks of peace and quiet
  14. Well not been on here for a while so quite a bit has happened including a holiday to Dubai and holiday to Turkey and 4 day break to Devon to visit family. On getting back up the road had a pressure testing course and an interview for a promotion. Well now back at work for the next 2 weeks so already counting down to home time.

    The Snow Topic

This cold weather is being blamed on the jet stream sitting too high this year. Whilst everyone is freezing the north sea has been lovely for the past 2 weeks with mainly lovely sunshine and dry also no high winds. It has been cold but when out of the breeze is glorious.
  16. Here is Elvis playing with his brother before we came home. He is the one in the red collar

  18. This is our new doberman puppy. He is called Elvis and is 11 weeks old.

    The Snow Topic

Hopefully will get off of here today Bill not holding out much hope after seeing what is coming Aberdeen's way. Weather here up in the northern north sea is cold but dry only seen a few snow flurries in 2 weeks, but it has been bitterly cold
  21. Thanks Sean, really pleased with it, a really clean car and has been well looked after. I have not seen many in red maybe 2 or 3 and they were the raging bull model. Just ordered steel rims and mud terrains for it as well Not sure I would attempt flood water like that either not like the individual in norfolk
  22. Lossiemouth Bill my wife picks it up from Elgin tomorrow, Really pleased with it, she said it wasn't as high as she thought it would be but you are right she is a big machine cannot wait to get home on Monday to try it out.
