  2. Yes they are, i try not to go newer than the 90's, and than you see some thing you like you know how that works
  3. It is an rc tractor done by Ertl, and it is origenal, found it on ebay never seen one before and jumped on it.
  4. That must be a TO-20 in 1/12 scale, manufactured in 1948, when that is what it is it is worth some serious money, around the 500 to 600 range. Erik
  5. Can not wait for that 1455, it is going to be a beast, and will look great on my shelf next to the ertl 1086 precisions
  6. Welcome, were in Iowa are you, I have friends in the north west corner Erik
  7. Yes it is Ertl, they also did a JD I think 4430 in that scale as a plastic kitt
  8. The wife and I will be going again, any word on the model for this show.
  9. Zetor in green and orange BAM Black Magnum Blue CAT
  10. It might be 1/18 i think, comparing it to my other tractors it is a bit small for 1/16
  11. The 8011 is done, I did putt some extra stuff on, Used rear wheels from a UH County with wheel weights, also used the rear linkage from the County, putt a toolbox and cabsteps on as well.
  12. That is 1/43 scale Barry, mine is 1/18 or 1/16
  13. Barry, inside the box is a stamp with 1991, i thought when i bought it it would be older.
  14. Not sure if it was a good deal or not Andy, I payed 100 euro's, he was asking 125
  15. I went to a big toyshow in Houten Netherlands and found this Zetor 8011 kit, I had seen this model before build, but never as the kit, I bought it and started to paint it, I think it will take me about a week to get it together when i work on it about an hour or so at night after work every day. Did any of you ever seen or build this kit, it is about 1/18 or 1/16 i think.
  16. Here is are 2 article's about it http://www.themiddlemarket.com/news/rc2-tomy-toy-manufacture-acquisition-217160-1.html http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/19622.html
  17. Collecting 1/16 scale means for me space is also an issue, recently i sold some models to free up room for more detailed once. I like to be abel to look at my models, so i tend not to box stuff up and store them, but force my self to sell the less wanted once, some models ofcourse will never leave my shelfs again. I try to keep up buying the RED Ertl precisions coming out, and i am still looking for some older precision altough i am getting close. Also i buy the toy tractor times tractor every year, so far i have all of them. And i am almost compleet with my foxfire farm collection. I have about 10 custom 1/16 pieces in my collection, and i think that number will grow in the future, custom tractors and implements are nice to have, specialy when they are machines you worked with your self, and they are great conversation pieces. I do have some 1/32 tractors and implements, and i am specialy proud of the tractors Peter (MPR Models) did for me, he is working on a Volvo BM for me now, and he did a Ford 6710, Case 1390 and a JD 1120 for me allready, all tractors we had or have on the farm. Erik
  18. pm MPR Models he is busy but he will get back to you
  19. The Spalding show altough not real big, is a good show no matter how you look at it. Some times size is not the most importend, quality is imo. And Spalding is a quality show, i have bin 3 times and hope to go more in the future. It is a show with lots of varity, 1/32, 1/16, old, new, custom. The grass is alway's greener on the other side it seems Zwolle is a super show, and Dyersville USA is the mother of them all, but Spalding is very good for it's size. Erik
  20. Great pictures, i see i missed some stuff again Great meeting the guy behind the fantastic pictures posted year round. Erik
