Few from todays road run 

Off in few minutes ,i am in MXU135 and Jasmine in the MXM120 with her sister Grace as passenger . All for a good course , then as long as we miss the thunder storms got a bit of hay to bale when we get back .

Rowed up a bit last night so its ready for when we get back of the road run ,had to wash grass and dust of Jasmines tractor last night 

Rear wheels do look a touch to big but i expect there is one out there somewhere with oversize wheels ,being 2 wheel drive it dont really mater 👍

Out at 6am as wind had dropped overnight and got beet sprayed and then straight onto turning hay ,its hot here at the moment 

Last week i was told that a good friend of mine was in hospital , His name is Stephen Proctor , there may be other members on here that now of him as he was a regular up at Spalding and other tractor rally's ,Anyway i took a call this afternoon saying that he had passed away ,very sad news only 62 i think  

Last ones ,some are bit dark as was getting late after getting around 4 sheds and another shed about to be built 

As well as farm machinery he has a collection of light aircraft which he flys from his own grass runway , these are some of his planes rest are in a purpose built hanger where some other people store there planes

Last night Suffolk Farm Machinery Club had a tour around a collection thats based about 15minutes away from me 

Turning heavy wet rows of grass ,we need the sun to come out down here 

Picked these 2 up other day 

I used to enjoy the show ,up till  covid came along i had been about 15 years running along with Mr Reeve , we never had very long to set up on the Saturday about 2hrs so it was always a mad rush on the Sunday to get stand ready for the opening . Mid afternoon i used to nip off and have a quick look around and would normally find something to bring back . There was a good few dioramas back then , Mr Goodwin has been over a few times allow we both ,like Barry has said do prefer Zwolle

I have made a start today ,cut 2 bits for farm next door and 1 bit for myself so far ,ground is wet underneath ,dry and windy today but no sun ,sun supposed to be out later in week

ValtraQ got 1st in modern class 

Same got 1st in classics 

And are mate got 1st in vintage mainly because of the trailer which he had restored as it had been on his farm from new and he still got invoice as to cost . Goody was one of the judges and he picked the Same for Robbo 👍😁

Forgot this one which it was in aid off , not sure what this year made but last year 80 odd tractors raised £7,500 on the day 

Yesterday i left farm at 7am and drove to a mates yard where 5 of us went in convoy to a field entrance where we had another 4 join us and then bit further along the road chap on super major join up so 10 of us whent and joined in on the 27 mile Peninsula road run , for 5 of us its 1.5hrs each way to get there so not sure how many miles in total we did but long day then we went back at night as there was music and hog-roast
