Hi all
I thought you may be interested to see thease magazines that we have just found in our attic. My dad used to collect them when he was younger before they stoped printing them. Any ideas what they are worth, there must be hundreds of them dating from 1979 up till 1990. They are still really interested to read and some of them have adverts for Countys and Same Diamonds in them.
P M me if you want more details.

Thanks for that, I may just do so. The demo Mf is the same as Lord fergys isnt it.

some seriously tidy kit there, that forager looks new, does he repaint the pickup ect where the paint rubs off?? if not how does it look so new
as for the new fergy, tidy number aint she, looks a similar size tractor to the current 300 series fleet to, all be it bigger hp ect, would look at home in the fleet thats for sure
Hi. Yes he does re-paint the shiny bits where the paint has rubbed off. I think the chopper is about 10 years old now ( I could be wrong though ), doesnt look it though does it.

Also whilst there my dad also happened to mention that they had a new demo tractor on its way from the local MF dealer.

Update 30/07/08
Popped to the farm today to see what my dad was doing. He was busy cleaning the chopper down ready for the winter. All the panels were taken off and cleaned and everything was greased up.
Whilst I was there I took some other pics of the machinery.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments, I have more pics which I have taken today and I am just waiting for them to upload and I will post them.
I didn't even see that this topic had been updated
I have now though!! :)
Again, perfect machinery, perfect weather, perfect photography. A joy to see. Are there any mpey clips or anything, be nice to watch it in motion.
Thanks very much for your comments. Im afraid I don't have any action clips as I wouldn't know how to, although I am looking into it.

Thease are the only ones that I have. Any good?

One last load, but first BREW time back at the farm
And finally, heading back to farm.
-
And now back to the first field for stacking.

Because I have been extreamly bored this afternoon I went to try and get some more pictures. I was hoping to get some pictures of the Jd working but it had already moved on. The pictures are taken in a different field but they are taken back to the first field to be stacked.

whos the contractor?
Im not sure but I will find out for you, It could be Ardens from around Chester.
-
Last few for now, as usual any questions then please ask.
Thanks for looking.

The loaded trailers are then taken to the other end of the field and stacked along the hedge.

Hi all.
Some more pictures for you all. Same equipment but a different stage in the farming year. The field doesn't belong to where my dad works but they have the straw of the land. The bailing was done by a local contractor with a JD and claas baler.
