  1. I'm sorry ricky but with deere's current record of reliability and fuel use it be parked up first! We have a JD 7530 and hired in a NH T7060 to pull my plough this season and one things for certain there will never be another deere on this farm!! The NH coped with 7f very well for 220hp (its mounted on land plough so no light weight) the deere has constant niggles, gearbox is well rubbish its the worst cvt on the market! And it drinks like there's no tomorrow! NH T7060 was drinking same in a day as JD but with an extra furrow and in harder conditions this year! I will add I was a blue hater but I loved it and prepared to eat my words We have looked at new 6r and 7r and for money they are were looking at case or claas as replacement and even a 724 as cheaper for better spec!
  2. Looking better gav, any reason why no tungsten? I'm all tungsten and for this season been superb my landslides, shares, skimmer points and shins are now on 1100+ acres (on a 7f though)
  3. They're water tight don't worry tris took 2 years and many holes till I felt the leak
  4. Looking good tris, I've just bought my second set of bucklers lasted me two years in the end and with amount digging I do with my boots getting the cultivation depth right they have lasted well. Only thrown them out now cause not 100% water tight which I need
  5. Good to hear my year didnt really do it back in oh god 5 years ago His natural environment keeping an eye over it and letting you get on with it
  6. Were abouts being nosey? As cant be far from me
  7. Good to see there still attending the local ploughing match Hope **** is well the legend that is
  8. That looks like an incredible sprayer and really want to try one instead all 'homebuilt' ones. Look extremely well put together and a brilliant design but a normal condor would replace my sands nicely
  9. I nursed it tapping like hell but they then drove it around and where happy with it so I ran as soon as I was given the keys!!!
  10. Well I've finally got rid of the L200 gone to 2001 Land Rover disco TD5 ES so I'm very happy to be rid the scrap wagon!!
  11. We all do here as well its done 800+ hours this year alone
  12. What is supposed to be our drilling tractor but due to constant GPS issues only did 500 acres or so drilling this season. But the cab is miles ahead of the challenger for comfort and noise level (our real bug bear with the cat) It is now on the 7f due to hire tractor having gone back Thats all i can find for now but thank you we farm 3300 acres all under arable cropping
  13. Then rest of the season in-between my spraying workloads was spent ploughing with the hire NH which really impressed me this season engine has brilliant torque back-up which made up for the horrendous gearbox! We had a demo NZ which did a brilliant job leveling ploughing just lacking a packer
  14. My home for most of harvest till rape drilling our Cat 865 mainly pulling 4.5m Keeble subsoiler and 6m topdown
  15. Well here's a selection from this years harvest from me. Well not so many of harvest as I was on cultivation's all season. How we move farms always hitch the two trailers together saves a lot of time and the new tyres we have on the 7530 710/600 xeobibs. We won them in a competition for the season they are the best tyres I've ever used was running at 8psi on grain trailers and well within there design capacity at speed. Then this years hire tractor NH T7060 mainly to pull the 7f LO 85
  16. As a full time sprayman think I should clear a few things up with this sprayer. It is one of the best on the Market the ground clearance is slightly better then a Bateman etc. And I can assure you it would spend half it's year that low on pre em's etc and on hills you can adjust it to your needs and safety. There are a lot features that make it outstanding but the price tag to match. And for OSR it's brilliant as a smooth underbelly unlike 75% other sp. But will add I don't run one I have a sands slc4000 doing a lot of work but have been shopping for it's replacement Hope the model moves and is worth the money at that price though thats unreal!
  17. Sounds like a great day but are you seriously trying to do 200 acres in 24hrs with total of 12 furrows? Between 17 furrows were doing 120 in 16 hrs just land work in big fields. But wish you best of luck!
  18. Twonk of a local NH dealer. Supposed to have a hire tractor which we wanted from start of harvest which we requested cause had to have it 3 months so it be done around 14th October or so when we normally finish drilling but for some unknown reason NH dealer didn't think of this so currently our tractor is sat on the production line fat load of good there
  19. Were else am I gonna put her she, not gonna let her run a long side while I'm spraying
  20. Pingu

Getting keen but presuming to clear up for everyone its just for the season?
  21. Well we were gonna make a start tomo as had no rain since yesterday lunch time and weren't due any.... well just had 7mm of rain > Why didn't this come when we actually flaming needed it!!!!!!!!!!
  22. There are many words for your boss I can think of right now mate but none of them are fit to put on here. Will defiantly recommend speaking to higher forces on the estate isn't right to look down on you and treat you differently he's far from a saint!
  23. I hope they do Fendt's 724 enough JD rubbish out there already
