  1. thanks lads. i wanted to have a more suitable size trailer in accordance with what we have on our farm. makin up some decals myself. thanks anyway lad. drawbar is a good job. ;)
  2. the new massey ferguson range? not sure of model numbers but at a local massey dealers open night looked around a few and i thought they were oversized for their hp. the one i looked at would be the equivlent of a mf 4255.
  3. This is my first attempt at one of these, I cut the rear section of the britains marston trailer and then joined the end of it back in, shortened the chasis to suit, changed the tail door to pivot at the top rather than an up and over door, replaced drawbar with a white metal one from pdc. cut sections from backdoor and replaced them with wire mesh, moved axles further back as well as the position of the tipping rams, repainted it all to fraser colours. just need the decals now.
  4. but with the 212 engine it has to be a mark 2.
  5. i may be mistaken but is that the same back end as a massey ferguson 65? it looks to be the same engine as was in our 165, ( the 212 engine). its by far the best engine ours pulled far better than the ford 6610 we had.
  6. Got my ernest doe ford 7000 yesterday. but, i was a bit disapointed in it, the mirrors on the doors are too high, there is no dual power lever inside cab and i wasn't convinced about the seat either. maybe im being too hard on it? What does anyone else think?
