  1. Welcome to the forum. You'll be corrupted on here, I only joined a few months ago and have been so tempted by so many tasty models that I have to limit my time on here to enable me to keep some house space free from boxed models
  2. Can you just turn up to have a look at this or do you need to get tickets or pre-book or similar
  3. Good mix of pics from what looked to be an interesting show. Congrats on your win too
  4. I like that a lot, you make it look all too easy though
  5. Most of these seen from a distance or from main roads/motorways so no chance for pics MF on a spreader (Vicon?), JD 2140 on mowers, JD on shredder, Case Quadtrac on harrow or cultivator, JD combine with JD tractor and blue (Marston) trailer in attendance, Claas Medion combine, old Claas combine of unknown model, JCB Fastrac pulling a trailer load of round bales, Claas tracked tractor (Challenger?) on plough, 3x NH tractors on roads and a lovely condition MF 575 on a fergie style tipping trailer
  6. Really enjoyed reading this great thread and love your pics Like the look of your model railway too, looks like you could have some fun with that Those 1:87 models have the potential to corrupt lifelong 1/32 model farmers, or even those who have recently returned to the fold .......oops too late
  7. Great pictures, looked like a good show and some really unusual kit there too
  8. Went back by later and got it When I came back by a little later on the combine was parked and the driver was just leaving the field in the tractor & trailer - must of been a one man harvest
  9. I'm sure that 'looking at' and 'working on' are two completely different things It looks great but I wouldn't want to work on it
  10. Had to do a second take on some of those pics as I thought they were of the real thing at first
  11. Drove by this parked up almost out of sight yesterday and this morning. Came back by later and she was working Looks like a sweet little thing Couldn't see anymore of the MF on the trailer as the hedge was too high near the road
  12. A few more.... One of those tracked combine things
  13. Thanks for the kind comments guys, a few pics from today. Most of these taken with loads of zoom
  14. Great pics of what looked like a very interesting show
  15. And more.... When I drove by earlier there was a newer MF with trailer but I didn't see it again
  16. Seen quite a few harvesters this week both locally and out on my travels but not been in a position to take any pics until I drove by this on the way home this evening. At about a mile or so from home I went back after tea for some pics
  17. Ford 6810 2wd on H plate with front loader and pulling flat trailer that had been carrying bales I would imagine.
  18. What I have tended to use in the past is neat pva brushed on then apply the scatter. I then use slightly diluted (even as far down as a 50/50 mix) pva sprayed or dropped on (with eye dropper) with a drop of washing up liquid for good luck and to break down the surface tension as mentioned by TM810 From memory that Javis scenic scatter is just dyed sawdust and when glued with a water based glue like pva it always sheds some of the dye, hence your navy/purple tarmac From experience different brands of pva have varying water contents. Despite the extra cost I always use a branded pva like Evo Stik.
  19. Great little set up that you have there. The accident storyline made me chuckle
  20. Great layout that you've got going there, very nice buildings. Love the mix of machinery too, good to see the old and new together
