Decided I wasn't ill and paid a visit to my local jcb dealers and spoke to my "contact", placed my order for a jcb 8085, full set of attachments, couple of optional extras,
Crimbo didn't hit your wallet too badly then Harry?

Two Kingfisher 1200 watt oscillating halogen heaters for my workshop and garage which should be cheaper to run and less smelly and condensation than my SuperSir gas heater and Sealy propane heater. I saw a deal in the local paper last weekend and then had a search on Amazon and found a better deal for the same models at £ 36.01 delivered. I have had one on in the workshop and it has raised the temperature by 7 degrees in only 15 minutes
Wow what a bargain! Might have to buy a few for the garage.

Britains Simba Solo on learning it had been deleted from the current Britains range

You could try a blackish/brown wash over the top to dull it? I quite like the effect, the tiles could almost be glistening under the sun after a heavy shower.
Perhaps you could even add some algae/moss to age it?

I'm getting further and further behind collecting these new Britains, and this year's batch looks particularly mouth watering. Stay dry weather so that I can earn lots of £!

Might be a good idea for you Jordan to place a few adds in your local papers and any free publications and if you have such a thing in your area, your local parish magazine etc offering your services. You have to 'put yourself about'. Best of luck and wishes for your new venture, hope it goes well.
This is a great idea from Tim and something I need to consider myself having been self-employed for nearly a year now, and discovering word-of mouth has its limits. It's also a food idea to apply directly for harvest work now as big employers tend to go look at agri colleges for fresh recruits at around this time of year (if they haven't done so already) and are less likely to look at small ads.

Call me a grumpy old man if you like, but as far as I'm concerned Britains Ltd ceased to exist in 1984, when the Britains family sold it.
Okay but there doesn't seem to be any noticeable dropping off of quality at that point...?

Do you work on a farm Andrew, or have friends/relatives who do?

Had I known Rob I'd have sent you a few photos I took of my neighbours Zetors over the summer, he as an 8011 and (I think) an 8045. Looks a good match so far though.

Great model Robert your girlfriend has great taste!
My family don't normally buy me farm toys/models but this year was an exception it seems, as I received a new Britains 7600. Unfortunately there's metal chips/marks on the front of the cab and yellow glue on one of the rims.

That's sad, and I thought it was all going so well! I think most will agree you left for the right reasons Jordan and thanks for spending the time on the updates, they were great while they lasted!

Enjoying 615km's in the dark, in the constant rain and with typical midlands traffic to boot! Night out near Chesterfield tonight, ten hours wasn't enough to get me up to Doncaster to load
Truck stop or layby?

Not sure the yellow MF200 is genuine, it's often just a repro sticker over the Autoway decal but you usually find put on closer inspection. The blue Claas trailer is usually the one in bumper value pack 5004.
