All ready managed to get work for 8018 and the loadall with the company I'm bricklaying for, is a good fleet for weekend work and would be good to start up a small business, but not ready to think about that yet,
So you kept a few machines then Harry? Good idea with the small business, I would love to do that.

Been out the road helping a mate plucking turkeys. Three of us doing the deed, started at 11.00am stopped 3/4 hour for dinner and stopped 5.30pm. Plucked 42 birds weighing from around 12lbs to 35lbs in weight. Have rather sore fingers now!
Oops, I first read that as helped to mate 'plucking' turkeys! Not really sure how one would go about that, especially once they've been plucked!

cant help you with this one really chris, although the new version that is now out of photobucket wont run very well at all on my pc, so i switch back to the old version and everything seems to go back to normal.
I did exactly the same about a week ago Chris and it seemed okay then. Maybe it's something to do with my browser (Google Chrome).

Standpipe tap in the field exploded, god knows when, but end result is gallons of wasted water. Turns out the copper piping had frozen (due to poor insulation and waterproofing) then split in the thaw. Now I'm drying off.

Crazy!
European trucks have night heaters (a new phenomenon in the US where until recently they left their trucks on idle all night!)
Ace!
So, with the engine off for the night I can set (on a small digital console) when I want the heatet to come on and go off during the night. If I'd like it to come on before I get up, set the alarm clock and set the radio to come on with the alarm.
