Big improvement on the base toy by the looks of things It's a shame Britains stopped using clear plastic or crystals for lights though. Those cab roof ones would be near impossible to convert I'm sure.
-
Looks brilliant, you know your Fords alright! What is the cab from?
-
Lots of dumper driving and a spot of fencing too.
-
Seen my first combine today!! Cirencester park starting their first field of rape
Stuart's going to be flat out for the next 5 days looking at the forecast for next weekend!
-
Good choice of base models, looks about the right size for an 885

That's a lot of kit you're responsible for, you'll certainly be kept busy. Very neat looking silage clamp too!
-
Ooh would love the TW20 /7710 with the green/red digger

perard bin chaser, pack of six siku drivers, britains nh cr 9080 combine, case ih magnum 340,horsch tiger/pronto,britains landrover, good old wife and parents are paying
Will be interesting to see this little assortment of makes on the layout. Who makes the chaser bin (I only know of the Britains one)?

It looks fantastic from every angle. Would look great working next to a smaller SG-cabbed Deere perhaps a 50-series. Not sure about the warning triangle though.
-
The zoom on that camera is stupendous! These photos are compelling me to dig my Dartmoor books out, always been fascinated by the place.

In amongst this lot, a blue trailer with MF200 sticker. Genuine, or not ??
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2572e69d3a
Never seen that hue with a MF200 sticker or in a striped early 90s box, it's usually got a Claas badge from the Super Value pack. I'd hold fire if you're thinking of bidding.

My local farmer is struggling to find 4 dry days to mow/row/bale. Looks like it's going to be the three of us on it this year
-
hope fully going to finish rubbing down my slurry tanker in preparation for some filming that will take place at the end of july for the concluding part of the old pond publishing mf implements dvd series!
wish i'd started a week or two ao will be a tight schedule to get it painted need to do it outside on a hot day but we seem to be lacking them at the moment?
Interesting Tim. Will you be "starring", as it were, on the dvd?

finally dry enough to cut front front and back lawns and me and the wife dome some serious weeding and hacked back a thing that grows around the front door,i hate gardening!!!!!!!!
Hard work isn't it?
Today I've been cutting a hedge with a Flymo. More of the same anon.

The weather!!!!
Ditto

Very nice example (certainly in better condition than mine), but change that driver!
My favourite oldie is a Britains 5000 transition model, with front mounted oval exhaust and 6600 decal.
So many I like though, especially my new two-faced IH 956/1056xl Transition model!
-
Thanks Paul, I'm still searching around for some decals to add.
-
With that header its way too big for me to display or even store. Thanks for the review though Joe. Can you open the cabin doors or get photos of the cabin detail?

any pictures chris?
I'll try to take a few tomorrow Paul when I've finished work and there is more light available. Thanks for the interest, it's my first real "scenery" conversion since pi$$ing about with Games Workshop terrain some 15 years ago!

Recently finished (or nearly finished bar a few decals) a chemical tank based on Britains milk tanker.
-
thats almost it from britains now. just baler and combine now i think.
Good! My 'want' list is getting rather long.
-
Could add a shower block to that suggestion box,
and, going by the Poles on the farm I lived on, a vodka fermentation shed!!!
And perhaps a smoking shed ruin to represent the end of the brewing process.
What have you been doing or plan on doing today?

Driving a nine tonne dumper from a building site to a friends farm, where it will be carting hay (probably) tomorrow.
