Thanks for the video Mark. I noticed the combine driver didn't need to dismount to unhitch, is there a switch or button in the cab the operator uses to release it remotely?

Well I could have posted this on a few threads 'cos it made us very sad and very happy and very proud all at the same time....16yr old son joined the Army today at AFC Harrogate. It was very traumatic when it got to the point where the sergeant major said soldiers out that way and parents stay where you are. Literally not a dry eye in the house - and there was a lot of eyes cos todays intake was 800 !! He's in the Yorkshire Regiment of course..
We are both so proud of him...
Wow well done to him!

Its definitly a DX 92 they never did a DX 110 with duels, I think the driver may have fell out taking the tractor from the box he seems to be making his way out the back window in the boxed picture.
Um I think you'll find they did! Page 67 in David Pullen's book and I have a photo in My Collection ("A Work In Progress")

I'm *supposed* to be posting Ebay items but I'm actually lying on my bed with the laptop reading unread ftf posts (lot to get through )

Quite a jump in size from the 6480 to the 6490! And where do you get the time to line the fleet up like that, you must live the life of riley!

>>I've got a video of the header being mounted but I can't upload it for some reason [img alt=[]http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif
That's a shame I've been trying to catch the header mounting/dismounting for some time to see how they do it.

Lots from Mandy ; blue pipe smoking driver, two vintage Britains implements. Pictures to follow.

I'm ill again and chasing loose Alpacas around the neighbourhood

Heart of the action! great photos andrew

7810 arrived today. Only real drawback for me is the ugly hitch and the fact you can't lower certain implements to the ground. I've tried a Britains 4f plough and haybob so far but I'm sure there are others. The engine block/bonnet look a little narrow too, I'll have to take a closer look at my neighbour's one
Also delivered was a Britains 6140 and power loader from 1997, last decent loader Britains have made because it will tip more than 95 degrees and you can remove it from the mounting bracket (and even take the bracket off).

I've been varnishing yet more bl**dy windows! At least the weather was right today, so I didn't get rained off.
Tomorrow Mrs Bigbear INSISTS that we go to Taunton to buy me some new shoes. "What's wrong witrh the ones I've got", I ask? "You've had them for too long and they are stuck together with superglue", she says. I dunno what's wrong with wives these days... I wonder if I can sneak off to look for a tractor or two while we're there...?
Oh yeah! I've got to buy some more varnish...
Glad I'm not the only one that does that, I can't bear to throw footwear away!
Ebay... Crazy prices... useful links etc.

The bonnet decal is genuine Mark, I wouldn't want to fabricate it even if I could!
