Raining like mad so just splitting and cutting some logs today inside the shed for a few hours, then heading up to M.Large's to look for a grapple for our mini digger for lifting the logs. Sort of an easy day, but i am not complaining

Going round to help a man tidy up round a small lake, i originally asked him if i could fish it but have got roped into driving a Case 956XL with a dumptrailer i will try to get some pictures

If you could pick up one form a landscape gardener it would be good as they are not a digger that will be worked very hard. Lord Ferguson we bought our 5.5. tonne digger off a hire company and it had 1500 odd hours on it, if the oil and filters are changed regularly you should be fine, i would try and look in the private advertisements if you are serious about getting one.

Finally a topic i can talk about, 2.5 tonne would be the best option to go for i reckon as i feel that they will have more power than the 1.5 tonne and they will do more so they will. At work we have two 2.5 tonners a Haniz and a Kubota firstly the Haniz are not a bad digger but they would not be the best available, the one i drive has 4400 hours on it and it is rough enough but problem it has is that very shakey and it has an awful does of the nodding donkey when you lift a good bucket full. The Kubota is a far better digger but i have only had a few opportunity's to drive it it is a very smooth digger and there is plenty of power for what they are supposed to do, i think that the Kubota's are one of the best available on the market and they hold their money very well, if you look the truck and plant trader you will find that Neusons are very easily picked up for the right money. Working in an TA barracks putting up metal fences with razor wire round it, very annoying as each panel has to be tied 3 times to connect the razor wire to the barbed wire. put they way i look at it is still a job

Brilliant first day at my new job, first off i was asked if i could drive a digger and said yes and i was digging holes all day long and also loading a 1 tonne dumper, happy enough with the boss and also other workers

Starting new job tomorrow with a fencing contractor got weeks trial so i do then if i preform i hopefully will get the job, they have a TM125 with a post rammer so will be happy enough

That sounds like a good enough reason to have them but i think scince i went to the truck show in peterbouragh and seen so many with out them on, i have went off them for some strange reason. I have to admit myself them 143's are the ticket here is a really nice one i seen at peterbouragh.

Not going to start any rows here but i really don't think that them massive bull bars help the look of them 143's, i think they should be kept origional as possible, not sure if anyone agrees with me or not just airing my views

what you think of them new farmmasters are they better or do they still need the bigger wheels on them, any new pictures of these new purchases

Fantastic layout this man has created it is something that i would like to do rather than a farm, i like the way that he was got on of J.Murry and Sons lorrys in and also Mar-Train rig as well, brillaint layout which has gave me some ideas
