  1. saw a gang at work last week beside the A47 here in norfolk, was told who they were, but forgot now. Nice tho ,new class with 9 or 10 row header I think it was and a fleet of fendts on the trailors...good boy
  2. Cheers for that, you sent me that before I forgot all about it . best go spend some money as the 824 is looking a little sad
  3. Will post a few more photos later, did a bit more this morning, while waiting for things to dryout a bit outside
  4. thank you for the compliment , Hmm 2nd one, well prob not, this one is for my fendt collection, no one makes a good Xylon. I would make another if anyone wanted one but it would be a costly build, this has taken 1x siku Xylon (not much left ) and 2x weise toy 515s. and a the rear wheels are off of my weise 824 ( reminds me I need to find a set, as that tractor is sitting on a paint tin in the back of my display case :'( ) I was lucky enough that a forum member had the cab remains of a 515 that he had used for the chassis and wheels so that saved me a few quid, but if not you are looking at over £100 of donor tractors if buying new . Also there is hours of work, I would happy to make another, but I think you would realy realy want one as It would be costly.
  5. Cab not attached yet, just sitting on chassis, and the fendt badge on the front still needs a bit of a tweek
  6. right, been grabbing a few hours on this here and there last few nights...sleep is highly over rated . been fitting this in between a black JD,fendt with drill,MF a hay turner and a heep of muddy stuff heading to moira...but can't post photos of that, untill it's been on a layout...very secret squirrel Anyway few photos, should have enough done to it for it to come to spalding
  7. decals look great...henri is a star,very helpful chap
  8. phew!...Glad you like it, It's got close to doing a few laps of the shed at some points haha
  9. Few more photos . stand fitted, pto gard, top link bracket paint soon then tynes
  10. Don't know if my sanity will take 2 . It's a Winter job when work outside is slow and I can spend days in the shed. But if you want one let me know. anyway I have a wiking with a hedge cutter that needs it's diorama to sit on to do as yet
  11. had to put this on the back burner at the min, I HOPE to get it finnished for spalding, if not for toytrak. things just keep comming in the post that need doing.
  12. Fiddly bloody thing this is . Anyway, work so far. wanted to be a bit further ahead, but work very busy at the min, and im getting to old to do 11hr day then sit in the shed untill 3am . also got a few tractor to get finnished and posted to Irland asap time just slips through my fingers Few photos for colin
  13. as far as paint goes, I think you may find a close match in the alclade range
  14. Might be a bit big for uk farms , but I suspect this beast will be found in the US and australia were narrow gateways arn't to common. Maybe in the photo there should have been a road train next to it rather than a massey with trailor. To be honest, I'm surprised they have'nt made it yet, No more enginearing in that than in some of the massive mine and tunnel machines these days and if it goes wrong or even runs away thunderbirds could come and stop it...FAB! as I'm sure I have seen one of them in a film Haha
  15. Very nice, I love the tyres on the deutz colour wash with a few weathering powders?
  16. Little more done, chassis just about finished, moving on to the cab
  17. Cheers chaps, I'm going to come to a bit of a slow spot for the next couple of weeks . got a couple of big R/C rallyx meeting comming up, need to prep the car
  18. Now that is a funny peice of kit from the front looks like it is made for a demount sprayer tho, Kinda like an agribuggy sorta thing
  19. But when you remember the year the xylon came out and think of what other companys were making at the time it was some out of the box forward thinking from the disgners imo
  20. Yes I think mine is the biggest wheel option, but there seem to be so many, every tractor you see a photo of has something diffrent .( just take a look at the utube link Jez has posted But the one I am building is the one I remember the most...and on the front of the broshure I'm working from.As like you I have never seen one for real. But yes the xylon seems a very big tractor considering the HP band it is in.
  21. Cheers jez, thats fantastic.the in cab bit is realy usefull. There are so mant diffrent versions of the tractor. I'm lovin the Borat moment, when he turns and looks at the camera, I was in stitches
