you can get the wheels for the 824 of this guy dave
breaks most tractors, but to date i have never seen a 824 cab ,which i have been after for a while now, he sells the bonnets, floorpans wheels and hitches but never the cabs? ??
Cheers for that, you sent me that before I forgot all about it . best go spend some money as the 824 is looking a little sad

Will post a few more photos later, did a bit more this morning, while waiting for things to dryout a bit outside

That is stunning dave, but your work is hard to beat...
You thinking of doing a 2nd one?
thank you for the compliment , Hmm 2nd one, well prob not, this one is for my fendt collection, no one makes a good Xylon.
I would make another if anyone wanted one but it would be a costly build, this has taken 1x siku Xylon (not much left ) and 2x weise toy 515s. and a the rear wheels are off of my weise 824 ( reminds me I need to find a set, as that tractor is sitting on a paint tin in the back of my display case :'( ) I was lucky enough that a forum member had the cab remains of a 515 that he had used for the chassis and wheels so that saved me a few quid, but if not you are looking at over £100 of donor tractors if buying new . Also there is hours of work,
I would happy to make another, but I think you would realy realy want one as It would be costly.

right, been grabbing a few hours on this here and there last few nights...sleep is highly over rated . been fitting this in between a black JD,fendt with drill,MF a hay turner and a heep of muddy stuff heading to moira...but can't post photos of that, untill it's been on a layout...very secret squirrel
Anyway few photos, should have enough done to it for it to come to spalding

Don't know if my sanity will take 2 . It's a Winter job when work outside is slow and I can spend days in the shed. But if you want one let me know.
anyway I have a wiking with a hedge cutter that needs it's diorama to sit on to do as yet
-
had to put this on the back burner at the min, I HOPE to get it finnished for spalding, if not for toytrak. things just keep comming in the post that need doing.
-
Fiddly bloody thing this is .
Anyway, work so far. wanted to be a bit further ahead, but work very busy at the min, and im getting to old to do 11hr day then sit in the shed untill 3am . also got a few tractor to get finnished and posted to Irland asap time just slips through my fingers
Few photos for colin

as far as paint goes, I think you may find a close match in the alclade range

Might be a bit big for uk farms , but I suspect this beast will be found in the US and australia were narrow gateways arn't to common. Maybe in the photo there should have been a road train next to it rather than a massey with trailor.
To be honest, I'm surprised they have'nt made it yet, No more enginearing in that than in some of the massive mine and tunnel machines these days
and if it goes wrong or even runs away thunderbirds could come and stop it...FAB! as I'm sure I have seen one of them in a film Haha

Very nice, I love the tyres on the deutz colour wash with a few weathering powders?

7810 dirty
in Latest Tractor Conversions & Scratch Builds
Posted
The door on these is an easy one, I use a panel scriber, then hobby knife, the 7810 is great as inside the glass is one peice for each side, not one peice like other uh tractors, if your good with the knife you can do this without taking any of the cab to bits , it's nice soft plastic as well.
But if you don't fancy the chance of lossing some fingers.....doing a good price on these at the min with tractor, mud and door, pm me if you are intrested
