when looking through my old brochures i came across one for the xylon, I have never seen one in the flesh, but it's always a tractor that I have liked....so i thought I would build one for my collection as it's been a while since I have built a tractor for myself, and altho I do a lot of paint effects I do love building stuff
So after being sold a siku one (Anyone who knows me will no how I love siku ) by a helpfull forum member, I thought I would make a slow start...well that went to pot as I reached into my display case for my 515c, that is now in bits as a donor tractor Ahhh :'( ordered a new one from barry tonight.
Anyway a few hours later, and a few to many cigarets and cups of tea this is what I have done so far, I wanted the front to be as close as possible to the real tractor, so I chopped the front off the siku and started a fresh, I also wanted it to pivot like the real one to.

I would agree, many sell themselves short, sometimes it is very hard to charge someone for the hours a job takes. I find it hard when I sit back and look at a finished model and think "I hope they think its worth it" Is my work good enough? or worth that mutch etc etc, I have to admit if I actualy charged by the hour I don't think anyone would order my work . Hats off to you

I agree, I have fitted a pma/artisan linkage and it took a fair bit of cuting and rebuilding to get right. But it looked ok in the end. Never fitted an agriscale so I'm not sure but it wouldn't take mutch for it to be better and easier to fit. I was fitting it to a wiking tho
