do you think the loader would be easily removed and leave correct subframes on the tractor?
-
the silver jubilee tractors were very high spec, twin assistor rams, four spool valves , puh, qha lower links, tinted glass, radio cassette, air conditioning , performance monitor, all standard equipment am sure front mudguards may have been standard too!?.Suppose the originals were a little more expensive when they came out, also imo they didnt look as nice as the blue versions. but today theyre rare, and everybody loves something thats rare especially a ford.
great conversion youve done of it, looks like it was a factory job
-
i remember the one our depot sold nearly had to go out with white wheels due to a very poor quality paint job on the rear wheel centres, not that many dealers actually shifted their allocation of tractors
-
the one our dealership sold had white roof

not a case of that mate ! these tractors are getting old now. i remember them when they were new and have worked on quite a number over the years. they use to suffer big problems with spline wear on pto drive shaft in the centre of the flywheel. due to a number of factorrs including the way the engine was fitted and the industrial engines rev higher than the ag engines. when the splines worn out you lost all hydraulics and pto. split tractor at bell housing renew hub in centre of flywheel. grind off remaining worn splines and rejoin tractor. roll rear axle off of gearbox and replace pto drive shaft and check pto clutch pack and rebuild tractor and test.
-
having looked at another 8100 i would say thats exactly what that is, they had a bit more than just bits of plate joining the bell housing to the front tombstone, it was like an actual cradle under the engine a very heavy cradle too. the ford industrial 2700 series engine had an aliminium sump.
-
that is the right type of engine for a 8100 it is a 2700 series industrial ford engine not a a modern new holland engine, i agree the side frame looks odd but its a long while since i worked on an 8100. the six cllinder major is fitted with the old 590e or 6d thames trader engine, ford d series had ford 2700 series engines.

the cr9090 elevation will need a few more changes than just decals to make it worth having otherwise it will be a waste of time.Great I will be able to replace my two old marston grain trailers with new Kane ones and upgrade the CR980 for a new CR9090 with both arriving in the autumn just in time for harvest "doh" Talk about being late to the party! However I will let them of if the new CR has a retractable grain tank "but I wont be holding my breath" \

the 8210 was naturallyt aspirated and used the same basic engine as the 7910 the ford 666 engine a later version of the 401engine. the 8210 also had four planet epicyclic reductions in the rear axle where as the 7910 only had three planet epicyclic reduction. the 8210 was rated more heavier duty than the 7910, it is a mis conception that a 7910 was a downrated 8210. if i remember correctly the 8210 had a heavy duty top link mounting and twin assistor rams as standard specification too. the 7910/8210 harked back tro fords top line higher specification flat deck models. the european market drove the development of both 7910 and 7810 as six cylinder tractore within this horsepower bracket were much sort after. the 7810 was a top seller for the dealership i was at closely followed by the 8210. the 7810 although fitted with flat deck super q cab was generally deemed a compact 100 hp tractor again going back when ford split the range straddle mount and flat deck tractors.

hope someone gets the decals done for uk version or the french model 830 decals will just have to go anyway
-
the 735 was the uk model designation and usually fitted with a perkins engine , they had a 6 ft cut marketed 1956/1959, the same combine marketed as 830 in france with a vareity of engines available including peugot and volkswagen.
