  6. taking quite a while been at it on and off, have the gates finished now and springs fitted to the back door so it springs closed just like the real one.just ordered a new powerwasher to keep it clean.thanks for all the comments
  7. the best way of doing it in my opinion is use a ford 7810,lenghten the chasis at the front ahead of the engine block,7810 back wheels,mccormick115 front wheels,a britains 5610 bonnet lenghtened ,7810 cab, exhaust and precleaner and there you have it,thats how i done mine
  8. i have to say as easy as it looks to build it has been the most complicated in terms of building it and having the parts painted at the same time, gates at the back are proving difficult
  9. thanks for the comments guys,it was really bugging me with a long time and when they badged the new model as a 7430 i had to have a go at sorting it.went through heaps of photos and there is a huge difference between the two

  13. its the wiking jd with deutz ttv wheels, ive used a siku 6920 bonnet withthe 6930 grills put in,had to drop the cab a couple of mm too as the bonnet is not as high.if you put the 2 bonnets together there is good bit of a difference but im happy enough with it
  14. cheers mate,just shows that the wiking is a 7*30 not a 6930,theres quite a difference
