well ricky , i still firmly stuck in the JD 4055 / JD 7810 era , but if the loss of an extra gear worries you on the larger tractor then the 66 is the better opton surly, like you say powerwise the 66 can be chipped for the extra hp needed ,but if you did get the 68 you'd only be cussing you didn't get the 66 with the extra gear

best bit of all mart , you're not being corupted by those fandangled blue things

all going for feed rich , the dustier stuff i hauled was basicly screenings that is sieved out before the shredded wheat is boxed, the shreddies are a mixture of normal & chocolate flavour,all perfectly good to eat , i took a bagfull home with me & had them for breakfast during the week ! the shreddies are all the stuff charles didn't let past QC :D :D tris passes the jcb & hook loader quite often

brilliant pics thanks richard , i used to occasionally drive a 1184 , real beastie, was either pulling a 2000gal tanker with injection unit on , or wallowing around in rivers with5 leg McConnel shakerator on ripping up riverbeds & no i havent got any pics of doing either :'(
