  1. depending on what size the roadless is the same skid unit from ford would have been used , so the 7600 would be a roadless 98 ? but this is based on the 4wd that ford would have released under it's own name , who the front axle supplier would have been i don't know unless it was ford themselves .
  2. it started off brown with orange wheels & grill & white mudguards,. the cab was bought at spalding with this in mind, so was about time it was done the blue isn't as dark as it looks in the pics ,poor lighting i'm afraid even found a driver with kverneland overalls to demonstrate the plough ! the windscreen was copied from another cab the same & a piece of lamination was cut to fit just really needs decals now , so a visit to DT in the new year will have to be done
  3. been busy today & while i was messing about waiting for the ploughs to dry , i thought i'd have a go at a britains economy ford
  4. what am i going to do with a couple of your locals ? i can't work off of measurements marky, so send the tractor down & i'll see what a bits i got left in me box :D
  5. looks blinding mate, the decals & hoses will really authenticate the look did i really type that big word ? :D

    Ford TW-10

the jobs all about getting it done properly not how fast the tractors can go :D hauled silage with a 3080 30k with a chap with a 3095 + 40k & there was very little difference in it . got to the hills & the 40k had to be shifted down a few gears , my 30k just kept pulling in top there was another chap with a case-ih1594 & he was faster than the 40k altogether !
  8. the only thing removed from the original ploughs mart are the depth wheels to be replaced with the ones you see here

    Ford TW-10

these tractors were well before the days of 40k as an optional gearbox mart, not a bad turn of speed for it's size but just like the 2000 series masseys they're plodders & up in the cab they feel slow & clumsy still a good ole bus & still will be when all this NH TS135a & MF 6480 have long gone
  10. , well this morning mart they were a couple of siku 5 furrow gassners !
  11. not gone as far as mike with the press , but pretty happy with the results
  12. nice & bright at least ! looks very good & a decent size :)
  13. each to their own jack the hammer will swing either way both for collectors & dealers alike ,they will either be seen to have the ltd edition factor ,which will make them collectable ,so dealers will see a good deal going for them as they know people will pay the money collectors will see them as an investment ,others will just like the chance to have something a bit different. the beyern deutz by UH is going to be a good example of this , there is a topic on the forum here about how many have been broken up, as they make a good base model for conversions ,but for every one broken up the ones intact will be worth that little bit more eventually make yer own ltd edition ? i've done it , i can't afford a fendt black beauty, so i created my own with a smaller model, it may well be the only black & gold 411 in the world but it's not worth anything , the genuine article will be in years to come bottom line is it 's down to the individual.
  14. never driven a MF skid steer before mart , but the bobcats were steered by the levers & loader was controlled by foot pedals

    A couple of reds

make that a 290 & yer spot on , all well looked after :)
  16. ooooh used to be my summer job when i was 13 , get one of those on the 135 & go ripping up the harvested potato ground , also used it a lot for the first pass on ploughed ground , then followed by a 3mtr dutch harrow on a 590, then a howard rotavator ready for the manned potato planter all in the days before powerharrows & bed tillers ,unmanned planters & box tippers :) more often than not they were the first implement to break up wintered ploughing
  17. can imagine you in yer smoking jacket & bottle of champers ,just like the paul whitehouse character from the fast show * waves the bottle , & says , me ? lord tristopher smallfry? 390T ? biased ? me ? surely not !
  18. will you be attatching a caster wheel to support the end of the rig or some locking mechinsim to the hinged pert of the conveyors ? looking very good .
  19. probably more to do with a lisencing agreement so more money could be put towards R&D towards other machines . thanks for the 699 pic marky , she's a beaut & no mistake , fantastic sounding note to them as well, a joy to drive in every way , if i had the money i'd definately go looking for one , as seeinig less & less of them about now, the cabs are too prone to rot to find a really nice one at affordable money. last one i drove had a loader fitted to it shortly after i left , but no strengthening rails were fitted , & was used to move potato boxes about , went well till someone tried moving a spud box full of wet dirt , yep you guessed it................................................. SNAP . :( :(
  20. have you got any pics jas , it would be interesting to see. what happens to the foundry sand ?is this the sand they use for holding the moulds ? only worked in a foundry for a month or so as a fettler , dirty ,horrible job
  21. yes a compitition like a pic n mix of ten models from tm810's collection would be great
