ah see quite a few about like the one i posted earlier , but most i see are half burried in the ground have been pushed about with a loader , flatening them or just rusted out scrap now
No information on the 510 drill mate I'm sorry to say... I'll have a scratch about in my various literature places to see what I can dig up, but production figures are not available (from me anyway)... I can't add anything else to this either as the 510 was not launched until after I left MF's employ
thanks mate

nice 595 tim is that the one from monkton way ? the thatching people ?

both look decent propositions , but if pushed i'd go for the super 6
either way both cabs would have to go

company colours i would expect, everything the Bristol Port company buys is now re-sprayed in red & white
-
sorry paul i cant agree , i have to admit that shade of red really suits that tractor
-
hells teeth mark did you get some plastitruct & glue for christmas mate , those builds looks great
might want to shine those mouldboards up on the plough though mate bit of silver paint works a treat

never really got into the drills & assosiated machinery mark , & although simillar in design if i remember the 30 was a precision drill & the 130 a direct drill ? so i would assume the 500 would be the next generation 30 ?
funny, if you ask farmers they will always say how much more acreage they covered with these drills compared to the powerharrow/ drill combinations & for some how much cheaper it was as well , especially on the lighter soils, which begs the question why change to the combination drill ?
any info on these 510 drills mark , how many were made & how much of an impact they made considering they came into a pretty well established market with the dominant sellers like accord & the like ?

nice little 732 still in use here , don't know the production dates though

lovely little tractor unfortunately those cabs suffered from having the hinges breaking away from the cab pillar , due to the door not having a stop strap or a gas strut, they just folded back to a rubber plug type stop which was fine if you wanted to just hold the door open , but no resistance to the wind catching it & ripping the door off.
another poor point was the rubber cab mountings , they never lasted long & the cab would slowly shake it's self to bits
also the cab fan was hopeless in the summer with all that glass it was a pretty uncomfortable place to work ..........like sitting in a green house

bit late to the party i know, sorry john
crqacking couple of tractor conversions , (including the 3085), nice to see you re-crerating the machinery you have had & still have to keep you occupied during the dark evenings !

it really is a shame you cant get this display to shows , every scene is a real show stopper

This sort of 'scam' was reported on the TV the other day, a programme called 'Dirty rotten scoundrells'. This is defrauding insurance companies of millions a year. I bet that the vehicle they were driving had false plates on at the time as well. If anyone has the presence of mind, you should, if involved in any accident, take a picture of the vehicle, the driver and the registration number, even if you don't carry a camera most of us carry a mobile phone.
most of these scams happen in & around built up area's because of the heavy traffic. it's unlikely it had false plates on as they wouldn't be able to claim.
the usual is to buy a car for £500 -£750 & get the accident to happen during the validity of the 20 day covernote, it's not the clam for the car thats the money maker it's the medical claim for injury & loss of earnings or the ability to find work that get the big money.
there was a case in bristol , where these sudden accidents were a regular occurance untill a lady in an estate agents office noticed that every time an accident happened it was happening to the same couple of men, she informed the police & they set up a surveylance team, & twice a month during rush hour they'd drive an old banger to the same point, get rear ended, get the payouts ,find another car find another insurer & do it all over again.

Got a few ideas floating around the more time I spend on the roads seeing trucks in all directions so I whipped this apart and am now looking at truck colours on t'internet.
Build wise, it'll get extended and take a midi-pusher axle like the picture show.
