  1. whoa there ....i know that truck ,it used to belong to AGC ? their depot was in collumpton ,just off the M5 sliproad, they had a fleet of 7-8 of them & a couple of 6 wheeled SK cabbed mercs used to do groupage throughout the UK & europe, Gregory Distribution bought the business & took on the drivers but not the trucks about 2-3 yrs ago. The drivers that stayed now drive DAF 85 CF's & their pay rises have been slowed down to bring them in line with the rest of the gregorys payscale .
  2. nice pair of ploughs you got there, will you be painting them a different colour or keep them like they are ? i wasn't going to do mine but having seen sparrow legs' lemkin i'm tempted to maybe get some dowdswell green or rabe-werk blue .
  3. i'll definately give it a go mate , i just hope i get it right \
  4. AAAARRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHH, JUST NOTICED SOMETHING SEAN ,IF IT'S A TURBO YOU NEED A STRAIGHT THROUGH EXHAUST WITH A SLIGHT BEND AT THE TOP !!!
  5. er ...............i'll send my wheels down if i ever have to get them done \ thanks for the pics & info sean .
  6. i recon these wheels would look effective on the 13 IM
  7. WOW sean what a difference a set of wheels can make , it looked good before, if a little on the tall side, but the tims seem to be spot on the rear view looks really good & the front makes it look real chunky, well done chap :)
  8. just re-read yer opening text again SL that look just right ,are you really going to put it to the hacksaw ?
  9. dawn will be furious if yiou start throwing handbags at her F-P , unless it's a designer label of course :D touche ! jamie's attitiude may well out of order but his interest in his toys was genuine so were his attempts at his convos,no matter how laughable they were :D have just PM'd sparrow legs
  10. fair play F-P , it's the implement as a whole not the convo it'self . when i see it in the shop all boxed up i really think about buying one but never do. No doubt i will get one but i can't bring myself to want to pay for it \ would this be the same level of disrespect you were giving jamies work then F-P ?
  11. herer's a link to their farm page , if you look at the tractor & tanker there's a cattle transport trailer behind it ,the hitch is from one of those ,turned upside down the fences are pretty good as well http://www.new-ray.com/toys/coun/coun_p_1.htm click on 'interactive diorama ' for the main pic
  12. it was the hitch from another very cheap farms play set also from new-ray it was a friction drive tractor & trailer set aimed at 3 yr olds the set cost about ?1.50
  13. got any pics for us to see as me ,tris & paul would love to see them
  14. i don't mean it in a nasty way but the legs on a the britains superflow look right but this siku doesn't \
  15. no i don't think it's that .................................................... maybe its cos it looks crap \
  16. i know i've driven both , & i'm not keen on either except maybe the one fitted with a mack 500 oh yeah ,VOLVO have a contoling share of over 85% in the renault truck division
  17. why not be nice to us & just post them up & share :D
  18. so your carpet farm really is creating the world out side now then mart when i was younger i worked on a farm that had a trailed lely centerliner for the use behind a DB 1390 on grassland & corn fields but was taken off the trailer for potato / sugarbeet work because of the tracking when turning at the headlands weight & speed is one of the reasons for having it trailed
  19. something not quite right about that implement \ keep looking at it in the shop but never seem to want it ,even though it's only ?3.50 ,it just doesn't look right ,i daresay i'll probably get one eventually
  20. did you know that when magnums were first released 4 & 6 wheeler rigids were not available, as it was purely designed as a concept truck for distance work ,however operators got around this by specifying extra long wheelbased tractor units until the demand was overwhelming that renault finnaly gave in & built a rigid chassis as an option
  21. some good pics there sean thanks , could've been worse you could've been in a McCormick or NH dealers yard :D
  22. my lime spreader & martins mixer bin is part of the new-ray farm set cheap nasty & cheap again but they do the job when asked if your mates got arms on his fert spreader it's probably like the Overum Tive fert precision aplicator
  23. best get that liner retired from the farm thn mart
