  1. they have 3 stores at pradoe, 1 big store and 4 silos at cluddley and a huge store in newport where all the dried wheat is taken for long term storage both combineswere being tried at some OSR this morning where they stopped after 1 run each due to there being too much dew on the crop. they are both running fine and so we are going to start properly on monday morning where that fields will be the first to be finished, i will let you know when they sent one your way so you can get out and see it

  4. the day the boss lets me go carting corn or spuds on the case and huntapack trailers is the day i know i have the best job the yard at pradoe farm and the grain dryer
  5. the 2 john deeres and the loader are all 11 plate machines, the loader arrived on tuesday and the same model arrived at hopton. so 2 new loaders for us also the new holland bb9080 and heath QM bale chaser
  6. here we have some more general kit including 1 of 6 16ton richard western trailers and 1 of 2 sets of tripple grimme toppers
  7. here we have the 8345R and 7430 premium farm from the back of one of the OSR fields and a hopper and inspection table, they have 2 of these set ups, a miedema setup and another orange grader
  8. hi mate, i was at pradoe all day yesterday lad so shame i missed you.
  9. its nuts isnt it, they will try and steal anything and do anything to steal it. when i think that the 600TT at suckleys is open as i speak. just need to be more carefull for the sake of protecting your machine id rather spend time and fuel taking it back to the farm to lock it up but thats me, all farmers are different
  10. thats not an easy thing to steal now is it, not something every farmer has either so should be easy to find hopefully. were the keys left with it??? how did they get fuel to it aswell without leaving kit behind
  11. majority i know are yellow, prehaps after this a quadbike sprayer
  12. well the lexion 600 TT and the new holland CR980 are ready to go, last minute service on the lexion have been finished. just need the wet weather pass after the weekend and then we will be go when its dry, all the rape and wheat fields have had the edges topped by myself and another bloke on 11 plate jd 7430 and kuhn topper me and micheal finished rouging today, 2600 acres done and the rape is ready now so just waiting on the weather got to get a new camera aswell as mine has packed up after 2 years of rough farming with myself. but i will get pics of the combines working
  13. lmao, love it, you should go back mate, its experience at the end of the day and just have to live and work with these people sometimes. its like doing a job you dont like just so you can eventually progress, you might not like it at the start but it gets better with time
  14. well im honestly not too sure whats happening with us as this dodgy weather is looking like its in for the week. say that though i have been topping the field margins around rape and wheat today with a John Deere 7430 and kuhn BFR 280. could this mean we are oing to go for it and just run the dryer flat out. ill soon find out
  15. superb stuff tim, loving the jcb loader putting that bale in the feeder, good photo that. we have one of new holland balers at suckleys but its a new one about 4 months old. i calnt wait for the next update, they get better every time
  16. here is my attempt at making a vegcraft trailer to go into a scene when its finished i have got some plastic sheeting on order to do the curtain sides and will aslo paint the trailer base green i might make a smaller version to go on the new massey 5430 tractor thats on its way and have that in the fleet oh and this jd will be going onto the grimme spud harvester when it comes out
  17. well here is my attempt at a grimme front topper and it will stay with this tractor and will go into a scene with the new GT170 when it arrives. its not yet finished but what do you think
  18. nice to see a proper combine and working in the sun (what we lack alot of in england). very nice pictures
  19. well the rape knives have been fitted to the claas and new holland headers so rape will be first to get cut and some is ready now but in typical british fasion the weather isnt so no go here for a few days at least
  20. thats wierd, ive never seen that before and id almost say it was slightly dangerous. if you were working in icy or muddy conditions and you went to go into or out of the tractor youd get no grip and could slip and badly hurt yourself. honestly dnt know why they might have done it
  21. not sure yet if im honest, i think it will be a new holland as it seems to be what they have there at the moment doing irrigation, yard work ect..., i think the majority of the john deeres go on cultivations.
  22. this may well expand overtime but this is it for now here we have some carrots under wrapping john deere 4020 on rowcrops (awaitng anoter convertion im working on) john deere 6930 and my new but unfinnished Veg Craft trailer. i will also be converting most of the pallets into the veg boxes as they are the right size and dont look right as pallets as they are to small im just wondering what to use for the curtains as i want them to be realistic and not just some solid plastic. this may expand into a mini veg farm if i get the time but ill just work on this for now. hope you like it
  23. hi, i am mainly doing harvest preps at the moment due to our last week of rain delaying spraying and harvest so i have been roaguing and cleaning grain stores. when we do get going though i will be lugging with a tractor and a 16 ton trailer
  24. superb josh, nice kit, there is a large lettuce producer up by me and they cover tens thousands of acres and have just invested in 3 jd 8345RT machines and 2 jd 8345R tractors for working the land down. they run also 29 jd 6430 premuims for the rigs and some jd 68/6930's for planting. the company is called PDM. who is the company those machines belong to
