  5. not too many bales then, how long is the field, there was one of those sumos on demo at suckleys and they gave up with it as the 8345R could not cope with it, i bet it goes well on that quadtrac and some stunning scenery, plenty of flat land there good photos mate keep em coming

  7. oh right sorry, havnt been on here for a while and what time i have been on here hasnt been long enough to catch up on what ive missed
  8. just been looking in collectors corner of classic tractor magazine and it says in britains autumn releases shepherd & sheep hurdle set-£4.49 bale trailer yellow-£14.99 tandem axle trailed livestock transporter blue-£16.99 cattle troughs x 3-£4.49 does any body have photos of these, i know the bale trailer is a few pages back on this topic but what bout the live stock trailer, thats whats got my attention
  9. i will also be purchasing a case puma cvx 230 when its out aswell, it looks a right beast also a steyr 9105 MT fendt 5200 V
  10. and dont worry theres plenty more massey to come for you massey fans all in 1/32 from uh a 7499 on duals 240 with cab - got to say im happy with this 520 v round baler vicon rv 4220 round baler
  11. got to be honest the massey thing has gone to far there are so many versions of the 8000 series alone i calnt keep track of whats what, dont see why they calnt focus on a few companies instead of one, and when will they do some john deere models as the only decent jd models are from wiking and there are only a few of them and there 6930's and a 7430, why dont uh do a 5R series john deere loader tractor for starters, lovely mid range tractor and would look great with the level of uh detail
  12. ive got to say the combinable maize is doing very well and the forage maize it shoutl be goinf in a couple of weeks, all of suckleys is for a digester but they have 300 odd acres of the stuff and 2 huge clamps to fill
  13. cheers mate, still one of my favorite models that ive brought, it goes well in any scene
  14. thanks, its a shame it doesnt look as good in the photos, i think the flash makes it look allot thinner than it is.
  15. last pictures for now, im awaiting materials to carry on and a few models i have modified the kuhn topper into a 2 row grimme potato topper i have a few things left to do to it but it sits on the front linkage of my jd 6930 very nicely
  16. i have decided to add my own made wind breakers to the sheds after i have seen they are not something used much on model farms but they are something i have seen in use on many stock farms.
  17. well here is the start of my toytrac display, the first shed is getting there but there is still a long way to go
  18. nice updates tim, looks like youve been busy mate, really liking the fords, good to see the older machinery in such pristene condition and still working hard
  19. im loving this layout, really like the cattle lorry aswell, be nice if some detailed 1/32 scale lorries likw this were done by uh for the farms. imust say though hes got a poor loader driver as even i can stack tattie boxes better than that with a loader and some of his sheds look like they could fall down any minute other than that its a cracking achievment
  20. i supose it would get the job done quickly over here, you cous drive down one field and spray the other 2 either side at the same time. contractors wouldnt be able to charge by the hour or theyd make nothing
  21. well thats shown me, i was clearly missinformed as i was told by a few people at cereals that it could barley be lifted and i missed the demos of it. and 1.2 metres is a great height, im sure the batemans at work are higher than that, prehaps its becouse its as high as the rams go due to them being so low to the ground. the hydraulics are just an added cost feature, i mean like in the video whos gonna spray grass fields and who has grass fields big enough to get something that big in to put it to use
  22. hi, i just thought id let you guys know about the 24 hour ploughing marathon im taking part in. all us second year agriculture students at walford college are taking part in the ploughing marathon. we are aiming to plough 80 hectares in 24 hours using a valtra and 6f kuhn plough and a john deere and greggor besson 6f plough. there are also 60 hectares that local dealers are going to be demoing kit. companies such as john deere, new holland, grimme, lemken, kuhn, and many many more, dealers are bringing down such machinery as cat challengers and lots of cultivation kit. its is open to the public and is on the 16th & 17th september at sydney farms ltd based in telford. this is a great oppertunity to see a range of machinery opperating and i hope a few of you can make it down. especially if you live in the shropshire area. i can give more details as us students are given them
  23. i have booked a few tables for toytrac as i can get the time off work and so i had to come as i have for the past couple of years. i am doing a mix of things this year, i have a small farm display and a few scenes i am bringing down. there are a mix of my own custom built models and weathered models that i will be displaying in the scenes. the main thing i am aiming for this year is detail as instead of going big and busy display i can focus on the small farm and fit in all the detail as im focusing on a smaller area. i must admit myself its looking great so far with many things that you find on a typical small welsh sheep farm. i can also tell you it will be a winter scene and so a first of its kind at toytrac and as im sure many of you know i can create quite an impressive winter scene with many new and different ideas being thrown into it. pics will follow
