  1. yes thats right, thanks. If possible please send me the .stl file as well to dwayne.duncan@swc.ac.uk
  2. Hi Andrew, these look good - can you send me images with dimensions please and i will get you a price. I will get you a cost as soon as i return from holiday (26 July2010)
  3. We also have this 3d scanner so we can reverse engineer products but its known as the lazy way out and not as good as having the item drawn out fresh in a CAD program. it only works on certain components too and not great for very fine details, such as 1:32 items. We use it for large industrial machines where the OEM cannot be traced or the part is no longer made. We scan it, add dimensions or modifications and then send it to a local engineering company to get the part made
  4. Yeah guys, the printers we have were about £50,000 for the powder based machine and the plastic machine was about £27,000. Not the cheapest way to produce models! To make them pay you would have to run them almost 24hrs a day! the offer is still open though if you have completed .stl files - send them on through and I'll give you a price to have them produced!
  5. Hahahaha!! And he has 95 available. Aww, this has made my day! Brilliant!!
  6. Yeah Paul, it seems to have broken off the chasis. Im not 100% sure though as I havent taken it out of the box. It came in the outer sleeve and once the picture was taken, thats where it was returned to! Its in storage now but im sure at some point in the future I may take it out and investigate
  7. Some settlement may have occurred during transit! And my animal collection so far!
  8. Some more additions this week. Ill let the pics do the talkin'!
  9. I have one of these for sale at the moment, totally original and in the box for £115 so I reckon this is pretty good value, even if it has a repo cab
  10. I hope to have a stand here, if theres room. Im planning on selling off a lot of my collection. I spoke to Kevin about this a couple of months ago but hopefully I can book a table for def, if theres still room in the sellers section??
  11. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120575115659&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_500wt_952 Just picked this lot up - an absolute bargain i think!
  12. Hello and welcome along! Britains have an RC John Deere but to be honest its isnt really that great. Your best bet is to go for one of the Siku Control range as they are quite well detailed and have various additional features such as flashing lights, engine sounds and controllable hitch. They are more expensive than the Britains option but I reckon its well worth it. They also make good money second hand on eBay so if you get fed up with it and fancy a change, chances are youll get most of your money back provided its in good condition and with the original box
  13. A few more additions this week Land Rover and Ifor Williams Livestock Trailer Set Ifor Williams Double Horsebox Trailer Massey Ferguson 1505 Tractor
  14. Realistic price?! Hmmmm.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRITAINS-GOLD-PLATED-JD-JOHN-DEERE-5430i-SPRAYER-LTD-ED-/250633356750?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN&hash=item3a5ae985ce#ht_1170wt_965
  15. I was working at the Balmoral Show today and got a few pictures. Im sure there are plenty more folks on here that were at it and hopefully they have pictures they can add. I just had my phone so the quality might not be the best. And I only had about a 20 minute break too so didnt get that many
  16. hmmmm, competitive indeed! im trying to save - this isnt fair!
  17. I looked there last week Barry but there were none listed ( I'll go take a peak now!!
  18. Just got this today- not impressed at all with the packaging. It came wrapped in a single layer of paper. No protection at all and the box is now in bits. I'll not be buying from that seller again. Anyhow, nice little model and luckily the contents didnt suffer any damage. Massey Ferguson MF 3680 Tractor and Crop Sprayer
  19. There was about 4 or 5 pictures in the Farming section from the Moira show but apart from that there was nothing
  20. Im not honestly sure Bill. Some days the postie has to return twice so it never stays the same for too long! I am compiling a database at the minute of all the models I have and when its complete I will have a better idea. Im guessing between 150-200 Britains plus a few other bits and pieces. If I continue buying at the rate I am I should be near your level in about 2 years I think!!
