  2. Or seller bidding against himself to raise the price???
  3. Perhaps this is why we haven't got our FTF Britains County on here after all this time... I note too the re-birth of the old quad trailer. Hmmm, delving into the archives to revive some classics are we?!
  4. I had thought of that myself before I bought it but I have great faith in the seller as I have bought many items from him in the past and he has a wealth of Britains items as well as a good knowledge of what is and is not genuine. Im sure if there is a problem with it he will not hesitate in giving me a refund if i am not happy. I will be giving it a thorough examination when I get it and if its not up to scratch itll be straight back to him! If it is genuine Im happy to say that I have a fairly unique variation as well as the original grey I already have in my collection. I will also be keeping an eye out for the black casting too and any other variations I can find

  9. Derrick, it looks as though you have got a failry unique Centenial tractor there - most of the models produced had a grey casting, much the same as the plastic bodywork. In yours the main body colour is black. Its the first I have seen that and it looks like a nice variation on the original. Did you buy it like this or was it modified along the way?? Your tractor - My tractor -
  10. Nice to see another Britains enthusiast on board - nice start to your collection there. Looking forward to seeing plenty more!

  13. I am bringing along my collection of Britains 1980 - 1998 and hope to chat to lots of you there! Be sure and come over to say hello! Also, I hope to get my hands on one of those weathered 7480... she will be mine. Oh yes, she will be mine!
  14. I love these machines - is this a reasonable price though?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1-32-New-Wiking-Claas-Xerion-5000-Tractor-Dealer-Box-/230546773692?pt=UK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN&hash=item35ada896bc#ht_500wt_951
  15. To all involved with or attending the show Im sorry to say but due to unforeseen circumstances I will be unable to attend the show this year. I had planned to have a stand here selling a lot of obsolete Britains models. Unfortunately I wont be able to do this now and I apologize to all for giving such short notice. Best of luck to everyone who will be in attendance and to the organizers of this great show. I look forward to reading good reports and seeing plenty of pictures over the next week. Dwayne
  16. Im working at it this year. Never been but from what I hear its quite the show! Looking forward to it.
  17. Ive heard good reports of the IKEA stuff. They seem to have a good range and tend to be reasonably priced too. A quick search brought this up - http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/categories/departments/workspaces/10410/
  18. I spent over £3000 between Nov 09 - Apr 10 on older Britains 1/32 models. When i counted it up i thought it was time to put on the brakes so i haven't bought anything since.
  19. Aww good stuff!! Glad to see you are still about Bill - i was getting worried there for a while! You get that shed finished yet??
  20. I havent been on here as much recently because of work etc but i have noticed the absence of Bill Cruikshank posting (BC). When i was on here regulr a few months back, not a day would have gone by without some input from old Bill. Does anyone know what hes up to or if he is still about?? I miss his banter on here!
