  1. A work mate of mine was at the recent Agricultural Show in the Czech Republic last week and he took some pictures which I thought may be of interest here...
  2. Aw right, I didnt get a chance to call down yet - just saw the sign on the window. Kinda sounded too good to be true!
  3. Yeah its a toy store so they dont do any highly detailed models, just toys. Siku, Joal, Britains, Bruder etc. They may do others but thats all I can recall seeing from the last time I was in a couple of months back
  4. Im gonna go have a look tomorrow at what he has in stock but he usually has a good range. Its the ToyZtore in Cookstown
  5. Our local Toy Shop is having a half price sale for easter week and everything is half price. Sounds like a good time to stock up on some more Britains.... Anyone else living in Northern Ireland - it could be worth the drive!
  6. Cant wait for this - I have the day booked off work and I'll be one of the first through the door! See you there Al
  7. I have to agree with you there Bill but given the history and the story behind it I just thought it would be nice to have. It takes up a lot of space so I doubt that there will be another purchased of this scale.... although stranger things have happened in the past!!

  9. John Deere 4010 'Elvis Presley' Special Edition with 46A loader 1/16 scale
  10. On the box it reads - "This special edition, 1-16 scale 4010 tractor with 46A loader is a replica of the one owned and operated by Elvis Presley. It includes such features as a die-cast 46A front loader, movable 3-point hitch, dash and PTO levers, an 'Elvis Presley 4010 - 2009' collector insert and an Elvis signature imprint. Elvis purchased the tractor in 1967 and frequently enjoyed using it on his Mississippi ranch. It was later used to maintain the grounds at Graceland. Now fully restored, the tractor is on public display in the Elvis Presley Auto Museum at Graceland."
  11. Organized by Model Mania Was anyone at this at the weekend? I heard it was to be good...
  12. Just received this beauty today having read about it in the latest issue of Model Farmer. 1/16 scale and made from Diecast so very very heavy. Havent removed it form the box yet but from what I can see it is very well made. Not sure if these are limited edition but this one was bought in America so there may be only a few here in the UK.
  13. Congrats Britainsnut, you would be correct! A few more this week. Lamborghini 1706 Ford FW-60 UH Class Xerion 3800

  21. Just arrived today - John Deere 8430T Another Corn King, this time in better condition! A box of Britains goodies - a few implements and a couple of quads
  22. Thats exactly what I was after - many thanks
  23. Further to my previous post can I ask all those in the know - did Britain's ever make a PowerFarm 8730?? I have been looking over this item now for a while and it appears to me that the bonnet and cab are both reproduction and the stickers seem to be rather new as well, obviously newly placed on the repo bonnet. Wasn't the PowerFarm tractor produced by Britains an 8830?? Oh and the tractor doesn't run - unlike what was listed on the eBay auction... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280464905779&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_1256wt_739
