well the manifold is 4 branches, into 2, into 1 all 2.5" diameter, which is carried on all the way to the back where there is a single silencer and a tail pipe...it's having two twin choke webers so the induction noise should be pretty special as well!!

well, post pikeying, the biggest one i still have is a 36mm britool at just over 18" long

vauxhall 2.0l 16v "redtop" into mini continues, just waiting on bespoke inlet so we can mount the carbs, to conclude, more cubic capacity, more fuel, more air, more valves, more gas flow, more bhp, more lightweight, more tea, Vicar?

A small 46mm x 50mm Britool spanner, brand new @ only £5.70 as mentioned elsewhere on here
what a big tool you have gav! not wishing to engage in a childish game, but before i was "relieved" of my tools at christmas, I had a 22" long ring spanner, inherited from my grandfather, i believe it was 1 1/8th & 1 1/4" whitworth, made by "King D!ck"

the National Homicide Health Service have renewed their ongoing mission to kill my grandmother through negligence... no medication or food in 24 hours!

back to a loved up lad then eh alex??  no more working on cars all the time, trips out with the lads ect, back under the thumb infact
the working on cars will have to stop yeh... gutted. but happy to be back in a relationship that doesn't involve a 5000mile distance or 8 hour time difference as of may 5th when she's back!

mrs goon (from canada) has been granted a 5 year visa to return to blighty, (read 'to me')

this long weekend i have so far, fitted subframe to mini for vauxhall engine, ordered some engine mount rubbers (of the defender v8 variety), fitted a new (£50 off ebay) lock set to the fiesta, and duct taped the old imobiliser chipped keys to the immobiliser sensor, now it starts off the new keys! so, we can see that ford weren't very clever in the 90s! i am also about 1/3 of the way through painting a freebie motorbike helmet as a Senna tribute. have shot white primer and fiat golden yellow as base colour, now need to mask for the blue and green stripes,(most difficult bit) then wet sand and lacquer.....

A leg broke off my glasses today.i'm due an other eye test in July anyway so I think i will just get a new pair asap. I wonder if they will be covered by Costco's lifetime guarantee Anyway held together with sellotape just now but I still have two older spare pairs,
almost sounds like you're breaking stuff on purpose to take advantage of costco bill...

The Fiesta registration is probably worth more that the vehicle and if you put a decimal point between the 5's the hp would be about right!
My latest purchase was a nice complete and as new astronomical refractor telescope in my local charity shop for £19.50 just had to have it at that price. Won't be looking at the stars here tonight though, grey overcast sky.
where do i sell the number plate though! technically, if you ignore the first 5, and just take the 58, the bhp figure is spot on squire!

3 part worn tyres with 6mm tread and one almost brand new tyre for the c2 from a friend, for £20. bargain. oh and got given a motorbike helmet for when the mini is finished and i want to hit the 1/4 mile!
-
get yourself a totota celica gt4 mate, best fun i have had for a car, 3 years of pure fun with that
funny you should mention it, i know 2 friends with gt4's both heavily modified, turbo melted on friend number ones, and a boost pipe popped on friend number two's at abbey corner of silverstone, causing an engine fire, so a fire marshall emptied a big powder fire extinguisher into the engine bay!
Next car choice will be dependent on whether i get this job i've applied for..

Sometimes it is better to keep the dream! I have never (and probably will never) drive the car I have always loved as there were only 10 ever made but I understand from someone who knows that the car is a ******* to drive. I still have my dream though!
i still have quite the list of "cars to own" so hopefully the mini will just be the exception to the rule that i have excellent automotive judgement!

well the citroen has lost lights on one side, is now pulling to one side, and hunting at idle. possibly because the badger clouted (in order of occurence) front bumper, wishbone, strut brace and post catalytic converter lambda sensor, then the rear beam. i don't want to get up to go and look at it!
-
suicidal badger vs Citroen c2 at 40mph --> badger (dead) + citroen (nearly dead).

1.3mpi cooper sportspack mini, year 2000 on a w reg, dark blue with union jack roof, wide arches and big alloy wheels. looks the pups nuts. i had to drive it again earlier to take it back to the owner, it was still trying to kill me. just given it a full service as the owner is selling it.... for £5k! ha!
-
snowing here. it's been 20*c for the last week odd and now it's snowing. great.
-
made the mistake of driving a car I idolised from the age of 13, needless to say it tried to kill me at least twice at every corner whilst going slower than the £50 fiesta and now I'm gutted.
-
bought the fiesta a new passenger side mirror glass to replace a broken one, then broke the new one before i'd managed to fit it.
-
i think it's got the 58 part... just bought a full lock set for the above car, shall we say that some undesirables have rendered access to the boot, fuel tank and ignition near impossible... another £50, however have found means to obtain service items without paying so that will reduce the budget! current score is that i'm £100 in and no closer to an MOT! oh also attempted to replace the passenger side mirror glass, broke the new one too.
What have you been doing or plan on doing today?

the paint is currently blue with black roof, it will be staying blue, i will just attempt to blow in the areas needed... i rattle canned the fiesta at the weekend, doesn't look too bad....of course should money make itself available... (final interview at jaguar land rover was today...) it'll get sprayed or wrapped i guess...
